Gettin' sketchy with Just Us Girls!

It's Saturday and, even better, it's a long weekend!

What better way to spend some time on the weekend than relaxin' and craftin'! It's time for a new Just Us Girls sketch challenge! Alicia is our hostess with the mostest this week and she's come up with a gorgeous sketch!

If it doesn't want to make you just throw down and craft, I don't know what will :)

It's the beginning of September which means we have a new featured designer at JUGS - please give a warm welcome to the uber talented Lynn Mangan! We're so excited to have her join us this month so make sure to stop by her blog and say Hi!!!!

On to my take on the challenge...

A Mother's Day card? ... In Sept? Indeedy :) I love this paper and while pouring over possibilities I decided it would make a lovely Mom's day card. The patterned paper is Mariposa from Die Cuts With A View. I stamped the flourish in palette glue and added gold glitter. The butterfly was die cut from patterned paper then topped with vellum and rhinestones.

Here's the inside...

Make sure to see the JUGS site for all the challenge deets. Don't forget to swing by the blogs of the other JUGS DT gals and show them a little love :) Their links are posted on the side bar of my blog. Also make sure and stop by Lynn's blog. Thanks so much for playing along with Just Us Girls - we love seeing your creations and always appreciate your support!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
